OUR STORY

We've roasted our own beans since opening in '96 in the beachside community of Sumner. Since then we've done a fair few batches but never lost the magic, care and hard work (!) required to make our beautiful coffee.  

These days our Master Roaster Hamish works hard to keep our stores and guests fueled up. We have 20 locations NZ wide, with franchise opportunities available.

From the beginning, it’s always been about people. People who love people. Chris set exceptionally high standards for service excellence. The early success of Coffee Culture was built on our fabulous team. Many originals are still with us today. A little older, 27 years later, but still fired up to make every cup of coffee cultured.

While we’ve grown in reach, size, complexity, team numbers, expertise, experience, resilience and industry leadership, our approach has been remarkably consistent – make great coffee fast, with love and serve it with a smile.
